We are getting married in a speakeasy-turned-synagogue-turned-event-venue space called the Beverley Social Club. The building is rich in history, having served patrons during the Prohibition era to living a life as a house of worship. We're excited to travel back in time to the Roaring Twenties, as all the furniture have survived since 1920's. The venue located in Flatbush, Brooklyn.
Same venue as the ceremony.
No.
The venue is located in a residential area of Brooklyn. Think houses with full driveways. There will be plenty of street parking for our guests. We do encourage taking public transit to get to the venue, especially if you'll be drinking.
Transit directions coming soon...
If the kid is yours and if they have been accounted for in the invite, yes.
A variety of Korean dishes will be served, buffet style. The entrees and sides range from rice to vegetables to seafood to red meats.
We do not have a wedding registry. In lieu of physical gifts, which is a very Western thing to do, we will be accepting cash gifts at the door, as is customary for Korean American weddings. Confused? Read about it here.
No photos. We have a professional wedding photographer to capture moments throughout the day. Enjoy the moment and be with us.
No. The entire world doesn't need to know about two private families merging into one.
We're closely watching the impact of the virus, with current plans to hold a wedding ceremony as scheduled. If plans change due to new developments arising from the pandemic, we will reach out to let you know.
